“No animal is half as vile
As Crocky–Wock, the crocodile.
On Saturdays he likes to crunch
Six juicy children for his lunch
And he especially enjoys
Just three of each, three girls, three boys.

He smears the boys (to make them hot)
With mustard from the mustard pot.

But mustard doesn’t go with girls,
It tastes all wrong with plaits and curls.
With them, what goes extremely well
Is butterscotch and caramel.

It’s such a super marvelous treat
When boys are hot and girls are sweet.
At least that’s Crocky’s point of view
He ought to know. He’s had a few.
That’s all for now. It’s time for bed.

Ssh. Listen. What is that I hear,
Galumphing softly up the stair?

Go lock the door and fetch my gun!
Go on child, hurry! Quickly run!

No stop! Stand back! He’s coming in!

On my holidays I did a lot of things and I very enjoy it. On the first week I stayed at home, because my parents were working, but I saw the world cup of soccer, I talk to some friends and I went to my cousin´s house and there I played soccer with him and I played to the computer .

 On the second week I went to a beautifull hotel called ” Santo Agostinho ” and there I played tennis, soccer and basketball and I ride a horse.

On the last two weeks, I stayed here in São Paulo, I went to the shopping with some friends and we saw a nice film called Superman and it´s very cool. Than I went to my friends house like Victor, Christophe and David. But when I stayed at home I went to the computer, I play video game, I listened some music and I slept a lot.

This is an oil on canvas by Mary Cassat, an American painter from the 19th century, who was very much influenced by Impressionist artists like Degas, Monet and Renoir. It is 100cm wide and 66cm long and you can see it today at the Art institute in Chicago.

It is called the Bath and the scene in set in a bedroom. In the foreground you can see a whitr jug and a basin full of water. In the middle-ground , the mother is holding her cild on her knees and gently washing her foot.In the background, there is the wall, covered with a flowery wallpaper and a painted chest of drawers.

The composition is made of curves and circles like for instance, the jug and the basin, the towel around the girl’s waist and the circle formed by the two characters. Their heads are touching and the mother is embaracing her daughter. the relashionship between mother and daughter is the subject pf the painting. It shows their intimacy, their mutual love and the girl’s confidence in her mother.

During the last three days, São Paulo has the bad days of his life. The PCC is a very bad group who kill persons. In the last three days more there 90 persons died, they shot civilians, policemans and firemans.

Yesterday (Monday) São Paulo has the biggest traffic of the year, 212 km. The population was in panic and everybody went early at home.

Some schools closed today, the schools who didn´t close (like mine), some students didn´t came to have classes. I´m 14 years old and I never see this in life, it´s the terror!!!!

This weekend was verty nice, because I went to my friend´s house and we did a lot of things, like play games, play soccer … In sunday went to the shopping with some friends and we saw mission impossible 3, it´s very nice. 

Well here in São Paulo I play soccer with my friends I go to the cinema with them and we go to a lot of places together. Sometimes I go with my cousins watch soccer match of my time Palmeiras. And sometimes I get out with m y parents. Here In São Paulo we have a lot of things to do.
